Presenting Creative Work

I train your creatives to present and sell their ideas.

Brave work gets bought. Client budgets grow. Pitches get won. Awards roll in.

Presenting Creative Work is a one-day masterclass for creative agencies, in-house creative departments, design studios, and consultancies. I've run it since 2009 - over 100 times, for more than 1,200 delegates, including people from Nike, Apple, Droga5, AKQA, Wolff Olins, Leo Burnett, PlayStation, Microsoft, and The Guardian. I deliver it for D&AD too.

One-day masterclass

In person or online

For agencies, studios, and in-house creatives

8-15 delegates

Who it's for

  • Creative agencies whose work keeps getting watered down in the room

  • In-house creative departments that need to sell ideas to the business, not just make them

  • Consultancies and design studios growing a corporate client base

  • Any creative department where two or three people carry every presentation and the rest stay quiet

Learning outcomes

Through practical exercises and industry insights, your people will:

  • Discover the vital ingredients of persuasive and engaging presentations, both in person and on video calls.

  • Learn the little tricks, simple hacks, and industry secrets that make presentations truly compelling.

  • Bulletproof confidence and develop interpersonal capabilities for high-stakes creative discussions.

  • Build a framework for future presentations, creating a reusable outline for a specific project, concept, or creative piece.

  • Perform a compelling presentation and get valuable feedback and positive actions from the other delegates and the session leader - me.

The day runs through five sections - Know Your Content, Know Your End User, Know Your Audience, Know Yourself, and Know How to Collaborate - and finishes with learnings and commitments.

“Every single one of us loved the session. It's boosted everyone’s confidence and given us really clear builds to take into the business. Everyone hasn't stopped talking about it since.”

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR, DESIGN AGENCY

“I think it was an understatement to say the guys enjoyed your session – they absolutely LOVED IT!  5 stars across the board and by far the best course they have ever been on.”
